Great way to spend a hot day...in the water at Prides Creek. Good music over the loud speakers, you can take your floating devices, picnic baskets, coolers...it's all good! Oh, and bring stuff to build sandcastles on the sandy beach. Shower off the sand before you return to your vehicle, restrooms, concessions...BRING YOUR FLIP-FLOPS...THE SAND CANE QUITE HOT!!!
Shot a few holes with two of my sons and one of their friends while in town for travel baseball. Will be making the one and a half-two hour drive back to the course to play all of the holes, a bit long to take the kids through all of it. I loved the holes over the water, especially finding a couple discs along the way. Nice rolling hills with favorable winds for bomb shots, while having avenues just wide enough to stoke your creative side.
The picnic area was nice with lots of tables and had water facet, had a nice big field area parking was easy and getting in and out. It costed a couple dollars to get into the park as a guest. Which is no issue as it helps pay for the park. Over all for walking and a family gathering I would recommend it.
Visited for INSHAA Regional Cross Country race. Parking was a challenge, but it's a nice park.
Cheap, fun, relaxing environment. Bathrooms/shower area is disgusting with holes in the walls and bugs everywhere!
